What are you studying at Pitt?
How do you see your theatre education contributing to your future goals?
After only one year of my theater education at Pitt, I have learned valuable skills that can be used in whatever field I find myself in after I graduate. Confidence is one attribute I have seen growth in since declaring a theatre arts minor, which is something that has always been a work-in-progress for me. I am so excited for what is to come.
Is there a research opportunity, production, internship, class, etc. that has been instrumental to your time at Pitt or in helping you form your post-graduation goals?
I had an amazing opportunity to be in Pitt Stages’ production of Spring Awakening at the end of my freshman year. This was one of the most rewarding experiences in my time at Pitt, which contributed to the school starting to feel like home. I was, and still am, in awe of the immense talent of the directing team, cast, and crew. What started as a room of complete strangers to me is now a family that I will hold onto for the rest of my life.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
Right now, I am unsure of my post-graduate plans, but the one thing I do know is that theatre will always be a part of my life.
