Peter is currently hat the University of Mississippi as an Instructional Assistant Professor teaching three sections of the University's huge gen-ed "Apprectiation of the Theatre" course as well as a directing class.

In addition to his academic work, Peter's sound design work includes "Bedtime Stories" (Pitt Rep), The Strangler (Brown New Plays Festival), Bad Money (Perishable Theatre), Archipelago (Intentional Theatre Company), Purple Hearts (Invisible City Theatre Company), and Mothergun (Emergency Theater Project). Directing work includes "Ashes to Ashes" (UPStages Lab Series), "The Sandalwood Box" (UPStages Lab Series), "Doll Parts" (Narwhal Fetish Theatre Group), "Liar's Poker" (Washington Theatre Festival, Source Theatre), "Day Eight: Snow Globe" (Boston Theatre Marathon), Prostration in Herland, Little Murders (University of Maryland Lab Theatre), and UnMade Beds (Brown New Plays Festival). He was awarded a Arts & Sciences Andrew Mellon Predoctoral Fellowship for 2015-2016 and will be defending his dissertation, "Mammon's Revenge: Living Theatre at the Intersection of Art, Commerce, and the Law" in the spring of 2016.
