Pam’s primary responsibilities include: more than 20 accounts for department, including part-time instruction, hard money, theatre, multiple gift accounts, multiple grant accounts; creating and managing internal accounting systems for department accounts; inputing yearly budgets created by the chair; tracking expenditures and reconciling the internal accounting system with University levels each month; verifying and approving box-office reports; compiling and submitting amusement tax reports; making purchasing decisions in conjunction with chair with regard to vendors and appropriateness of purchases; processing P-card applications for incoming staff with buying responsibilities; processing beginning-of-the-year startup funds for shops; and supervising payroll and human-resources paperwork from all areas to ensure deadlines are met.
