Maya is currently researching about the New Federal Theatre and the career path of Woodie King Jr. at the New York Public Library for Performing Arts. She will then be headed to the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, located in Harlem, New York, to delve further into manuscripts, scripts, and artifacts from past productions at the New Federal Theatre.
